A Word From Our Patients

“Chris Kyle Patriots Hospital was the turning point in my life. Before arriving, I felt completely lost and unsure if recovery was even possible for me. I carried so much pain, shame and doubt that it seemed easier to give up than to keep trying. But when I walked through those doors, everything began to change. If you’re struggling and wondering if there’s hope, I’m living proof that there is.”

“The staff at Chris Kyle showed me kindness, compassion, and empathy and most of all, gave me a listening ear. Since my discharge, I have informed everyone and anyone I could about your facility and how it helped me improve myself and start a new lifestyle of better physical and mental health. I thank you Chris Kyle for helping me find my smile and sense of humor again.”

“Today I leave CKPH with a new hope and a fresh start to a great life. Because of every single staff member from the doctor to clinicians to janitors to nurses to kitchen staff to admin and everyone else. I was able to find a new way of living by working my own healthy program. I am alive. My life is saved. And I realize now that I am worth having. Thank you.”

“The recreational therapist has definitely brought the artist out in me, and I know we can all be resistant to that sometimes, but art class has turned into such a wonderful therapeutic atmosphere as you actually think about what you are doing and the confidence it gives.”

“The music therapist has touched my heart with her music and the way she is able to bring the music and trauma together and bring healing touches.”
