Military-Specific Inpatient Care

Our inpatient program is an intensive dual track treatment option for first responders, military service members and veterans who have experienced trauma or require detoxification and rehabilitation for substance abuse. We also serve active duty adult dependents, age 18 and older, in need of substance abuse treatment.

The program is built around the core belief that the healing process lies within resiliency traits and achievement of personal values, and focuses on developing those areas in each patient. At its foundation, our treatment approach provides intensive, trauma-focused treatment with the goal to improve patients’ overall resiliency.

Another core value of our program is the importance of family involvement in the healing, recovery and transitional processes. For that reason, every patient’s treatment plan includes a family component referred to as Ohana Nui (big family).

Primary Treatment Models

  • Cognitive processing therapy
  • Eye movement desensitization and reprocessing
  • Prolonged exposure
  • 12-step model

Therapy Topics

  • Alcoholics Anonymous
  • Seeking Safety model
  • Mind Over Mood model
  • Narcotics Anonymous
  • Spirituality curriculum
